E-Pulse

With the Harmony® system, increased negative pressure between the prosthesis socket and liner creates an optimum connection between the prosthesis and residual limb.

Proprioception is enhanced and strain on the residual limb is reduced. In addition, increasing the vacuum reduces the daily volume fluctuations of the residual limb. This effective system to connect a prosthesis has been available to transtibial amputees since 2001 in the form of the mechanical Harmony® pumps (e.g. P2 or HD). Their effectiveness has already been proven by several studies.

FEATURES:
• Reduced daily volume fluctuations
• Improved proprioception
• Better connection between the residual limb and prosthesis
• Reduced strain on the residual limb
• No weight restrictions
• No activity level restrictions
• No amputation height restrictions

Harmony Pump

Ottobock’s Harmony® Vacuum Management System provides superb fit between the liner and socket while minimizing residual limb volume changes throughout the day.

The Otto Bock Harmony vacuum offers a secure suspension by creating a negative vacuum in the socket, offering unprecedented comfort, control and safety. The system uses a pump and an exhaust valve, which are activated at every step when using the mechanical pump or by a sensor with the electronic version. The pump and valve allow the system to constantly regulate pressure for the optimal suspension. The mechanical version of the Harmony also offers a shock damping and torsion function, integrated into the mechanical pump.

FEATURES:
In combination with the other Harmony System components (e.g. an Anatomic 3D PUR Liner, a ProFlex Sleeve and the custom made Harmony compatible socket) the Harmony E2 provides volume management for the residual limb, enhanced suspension and reduced forces in the socket.

Limb Logic

The evolution of LimbLogic provides elevated vacuum in an easier to use system.

The LimbLogic Sleeve works with the LimbLogic controller to ensure an airtight, secure system. This fabric-covered silicone sleeve comes with a separate silicone cuff. The cuff is placed directly over the socket’s trim line for extra protection from wear and impact. The sleeve is then donned over the cuff. The LimbLogic Sleeve has a repositionable silicone cuff allowing patients using elevated vacuum to fix a leak immediately. This clever, yet simple, design allows the cuff to be repositioned. Should a patient puncture their sleeve, they can rotate the cuff and immediately regain an airtight seal. Additionally, the fabric used on the LimbLogic Sleeve enhances knee flexibility for ease and comfort of movement.

FEATURES:
Innovative silicone sleeve with repositionable silicone cuff Recommended for use with LimbLogic® as well as other vacuum systems Enhances knee flexibility Inner cuff allows wearer to fix leaks immediately Repairable silicone for extended sleeve wear Uses proprietary platinum-cured, medical grade silicone.

Triton

The Triton Harmony combines the outstanding functionality of the 1C60 Triton carbon foot with the proven Harmony P3 technology. This results in a highly functional, compact foot system with integrated Harmony pump for the fabrication of a socket system with a greater vacuum, additional shock absorption and torsion capability.
The Harmony system improves adhesion between the residual limb and the prosthesis, resulting in enhanced proprioception and an additional plus in safety in any situation. Furthermore, the residual limb volume is stabilised and circulation is promoted.
Compared to the use of separate components, the 1c62 Triton Harmony offers a weight advantage and reduced structural height. This means patients with a longer transtibial residual limb can also benefit from the combination of Triton features with Harmony vacuum technology.
The scope of delivery for the Triton Harmony includes a Spectra-Sock, the footshell including connection cap, a transparent (soft) and anthracite (firm) heel wedge, a pump with pre-assembled functional ring, socket connector and sound absorber.

LP Rotate

The LP Rotate with EVO has been specially designed for people with long residual limbs, which have insufficient clearance for the Re-Flex Rotate with EVO.

This compact energy-storing foot offers rotational shock absorption designed to reduce shear forces on the residual limb. The Rotate shock module is combined with the LP Vari-Flex foot module. Össur's EVO feature enables the full potential of the foot plate to be realized with every step, helping to enhance natural gait progression.
Unity is only recommended with sleeveless Seal-In technology.

FEATURES:
• CARBON-X Active Heel - The Carbon-X Active Heel stores the energy during loading response as the amputee transfers his or her body weight onto the prosthetic foot. Energy is gradually released from the heel providing optimal return for forward progression of the limb.
• EVO - The EVO (Energy Vector Optimization) feature is generated by controlling how the ground reaction force is transferred to the prosthetic foot. Each step is optimized through the magnitude, placement and direction of forces for maximum efficiency. EVO enables the amputee to develop the most natural gait progression possible which reduces fatigue and puts less pressure on the sound side.
• Full Length Toe Lever - The full length keel/toe lever matches the length of the sound foot, providing improved support to the prosthetic limb during late stance. It ensures that users spend equal time on the prosthetic foot and natural limb, thus providing improved walking dynamics and reduced impact to the sound limb.
• Proportional Response - The layering of carbon fiber, optimized through extensive computer analysis and mechanical testing, ensures that the deflection of the carbon fiber heel and forefoot components are proportional to the user’s weight and impact level
• Rotation - Trunk rotation is essential for good gait dynamics. If rotation is limited by loss of joints and the prosthetic interface, gait dynamics and comfort are compromised. Rotational forces are translated to more proximal joints and to the residual limb. Rotary torque absorbing components assist in restoring rotation thus improving joint health, comfort and gait dynamics.
• Split Toe - A split toe feature allows the foot to adjust to uneven surfaces, allowing amputees to walk with stability and comfort on uneven ground.
• Vertical Shock Pylon - The vertical shock pylon reduces impact to the residual limb, joints and lower back during daily activities. It also ensures a more energy-efficient gait by minimizing vertical displacement of the center of gravity.

Reflex Rotate

Re-Flex Rotate with EVO is a robust, high performance foot allowing users to enjoy daily living, work and leisure with the comfort and confidence to reach their full potential.
Meeting challenging requirements of the active user by combining optimal shock absorption, dynamic energy return and comfort, the Re-Flex Rotate is one of a kind. Featuring a sleek profile and maintenance free design it is the first choice for active users requiring high performance, comfortable everyday foot.

The torsion cell reduces both rotary forces on the knee joint and shear forces on the residual limb. An integrated torsion cell allows rotational yield designed to protect the residual limb and knee joint. Shock absorption via titanium coil spring reduces impact subjected to the body while enhancing both control and comfort during walking and other activities.
The incorporation of EVO enables users to experience natural gait progression by utilizing the foot plate to its fullest potential. A more natural gait reduces fatigue and puts less strain on the lower back and sound side.

FEATURES:
• Active Tribal Progression - Vertical forces generated at heel contact are stored and translated into a linear motion described as Active Tibial Progression. This action reduces the need to actively push the body forward using the contralateral foot and also equalizes stride length.
